Here at Rocford we are different to your average kit supplier. We take time to get to know your club and the people that make it all possible. Without all the people behind the scenes, we wouldn’t have our beloved sport. We aim to support the growth and participation at all our client’s clubs. Sponsorship is just one way this is possible. We look to provide those who want it with the support they need both on and off the field.
The whole idea behind our sponsorship is to put money back into your club. We firmly believe that the mini’s and juniors are the future of Rugby. They will want to replicate the first team of the club. Having cool ‘stash’ supplied throughout a whole club can increase revenue from the club shop and make your players feel a part of a bigger collective. Image is everything in Rugby and it is the team ethic that makes our game unique. Through club sponsorship we can work with you to help reach your potential as a club and team.
Rocford also like to get behind events such as; 7’s tournaments, charity matches and fun days at clubs. We see this as an opportunity to give back to the rugby community we have been a part of since our establishment. These events are very popular and can provide great days out for all the family! We know Rugby clubs are not defined on a Saturday afternoon but by all the activities that go on at the club.
Finally, we have had the opportunity to sponsor some great players and causes throughout our time. We are extremely proud to be able to say we have helped in raising funds for players worldwide. It is very rewarding for us to see the overall effect our sponsorship can have on such important people. One example of this is our sponsorship of Maciu ‘Matty’ Vosa in Melbourne, Australia. Matty suffered an injury while playing for Melbourne Harlequins, leaving him severely disabled. When asked if we could help in providing jerseys for a charity match in his honour to help raise funds for the care and rehabilitation Matty needs, we couldn’t wait to be involved. The jerseys were auctioned off after the game and all proceeds went to the Maciu Vosa trust fund.
